A Look Back at Our First Lindsey Hunter Foundation Charity Mixer
By Lindsey Hunter Foundation Staff
Last night marked a milestone for The Lindsey Hunter Foundation as we hosted our very first Charity Pickleball Mixer at @bashpickleballclub. With incredible community support, exciting match play, and the energy of Detroit behind us, the evening proved that sports—whether basketball or pickleball—can bring people together for a bigger purpose.
From the speed serve court to the lively exhibition match between Lindsey Hunter @owelindseyhunter and son Caleb Hunter @cayboogie, the night delivered fun, competition, and a true spirit of community.
We’re especially grateful for our generous sponsors:
And of course, a huge thank you to Christopher Lau @seelautravel for capturing the event and helping us share this story beyond the court.
This was more than just a mixer—it was a chance to rally support for our programs that empower youth through basketball, mentorship, and education. Every game played, prize won, and smile shared pushes our mission forward.
The success of our first Charity Pickleball Mixer has us already looking forward to the next one. Thank you to everyone who came out, cheered, competed, and gave their time to the cause. Together, we’re proving that whether it’s basketball or pickleball, the game is always bigger than us—it’s about building community and creating opportunities.
